A decade in Texas golf construction, a Ph.D. in mathematics, one terrain practice.

Jacob Caudell holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Boston College and a B.S. from The University of Texas at Austin. He spent more than a decade in Texas golf construction (Big Easy Ranch, River Oaks Country Club, Golf Club of Houston, Bentwater Yacht & Country Club, Fazio Canyons Golf Course, among others) doing takeoffs and as-builts before turning to terrain full time. CTG runs every step in-house, from flight planning to the final deliverable, with no handoffs and no black boxes. The inputs are drone-flown LiDAR and photogrammetry; the output is terrain you can build from, review against, and act on.

The fieldwork taught him which questions a site actually raises. The mathematics lets him answer them without guessing.
